Attorney General Richard Cordray hosted the first meeting of the Ohio Human Trafficking Study Commission. Researchers, social service agencies, advocates, prosecutors and law enforcement officials from around the state of Ohio were invited to participate. Commission goals are to understand how to increase law enforcement and investigation efforts to dismantle the organized enterprises. Commission members divided into separate subcommittees including Research and Analysis, Victim Assistance and Safe Locations, Training and Law Enforcement, Legal and Legislative and Prevention, Outreach and Education.
